The law firm of Sheehan, Barnett, & Hays, P.S.C. was formed in May of 1975 in downtown Danville, Kentucky, by Attorneys James G. Sheehan, Jr., James W. Barnett and Edward D. Hays.
In December, 1998, former Associate Attorneys James Hadden Dean and Henry Vincent Pennington, III became partners making the firm name Sheehan, Barnett, Hays, Dean & Pennington, P.S.C. The firm name became Sheehan, Barnett, Dean & Pennington, P.S.C. upon Hays' departure in 2008. In September of 2008, attorney Rami Little joined the firm as an Associate and later became a partner in August, 2009 making the firm name Sheehan, Barnett, Dean, Pennington & Little, P.S.C.
In addition to Barnett, Dean, Pennington and Little, the law firm is proud to have Associate Attorney Stephen A. Dexter and an "Of Counsel" attorney. Elizabeth Nickels Lenn serves in this capacity. The firm has a professional support staff of twelve.
