The president and owner of Star Mortgage, Bev Maybrier, has been successful in the mortgage business for many years. Bev began her mortgage career at First Federal Savings Bank (now known as US Bank) in 1992. In 1999 she co-founded Eagle Mortgage in Richmond and was a principal owner until she divested her interest in 2005 and formed Star Mortgage.
