that is Community Driven
From supporting youth programs to contributing to medical research, Farmers Bank is dedicated to the community it serves. As Princeton's only community bank Farmers Bank is proud to be a part of the community.

Driven for Fitness Farmers Bank had the largest team in the Caldwell Medical Center's "Run for Your Life" 5K run/2 mile walk. All proceeds went to the "Feeding America" hunger-relief program.
Driven for the Arts
At the Pennington Folk Music Festival, Farmers Bank employees provided all art supplies necessary for the children to create two colorfully dynamic murals. The cheerful artwork created by the children of the community now brighten both the main bank and the branch bank's lobbies.

Driven for a Cure
The Farmers Bank Relay for Life Team annually supports cancer research at Caldwell County's Relay for Life. Farmers Bank employees Kathy Winn (left) and Tammy Brasher enjoyed taking a lap around the track together at the June 2010 event. Farmers Bank employees raised over $3,100 for the American Cancer Society.

Driven for Youth
Farmers Bank's Tiger CheckCard earnings for the third quarter generated $853.60, which was presented in the form of a check by President/CEO Jeff McDaniels to the Youth Incorporated championship softball team of the Lassie Minor League, the Atmos Energy Lady Tigers. The grand total of Tiger CheckCard earnings is now $2206.10, which Farmers Bank has donated to Youth Incorporated.

Driven for Education
The Reading Buddy Program at Caldwell County Primary School is a rewarding way for the employees of Farmers Bank to give back to the community by tutoring these second graders in reading and speaking skills. Every week of the 2009-2010 school year, the bank employees visited the students for one-on-one reading time.

At Farmers Bank, we are working harder to serve you better. We want to provide you with the facts you need to know to make smart financial decisions that affect your personal needs. On August 15, 2010 a new federal regulation is taking effect that will impact ATM and debit card overdraft transactions. An overdraft occurs when you do not have enough money in your account to cover a transaction, but we pay it anyway. So if you are purchasing groceries at the store or making a withdrawal at the ATM, your transaction would be denied if you dont have enough money in your account. With your permission, we can consider paying everyday debit card and ATM transactions that would overdraw your account. You have the factsthe choice is yours.

Farmers Bank and Trust Company has chosen not to participate in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Customers of Farmers Bank and Trust Company will continue to be insured for up to $250,000.00 through December 31, 2013 under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.
