Scott Weis founded High Power Technical Services, Inc. in 1999 with their primary focus being the sales and installation of Dish Network satellite television products. From day one sales began piling up in the Louisville area and surroundng counties. Installations averaged 5-10 per week and were done using personal vehicles. Even with just 5 employees in the first year, High Power and the Dish Network product were having an impact on the local cable competition.
Today, High Power is Dish Network's #1 regional service provider for Kentucky and Indiana. They have grown from one small office with five employees to twelve offices in Kentucky and Indiana with over 400 employees in 2008. Today High Power Tech. averages 575-600 installations a day utilizing a fleet of over 200 custom trucks and vans in Louisville alone.
With over 400 employees currently working, High Power has experienced a 210% growth in staff. The positive impact High Power has had on the state of Kentucky and the community surrounding Louisville is significant. Through job growth and tax revenue, this company is a community leader.
