Care of the infected patient and the traveler.
This practice offers specialized medical care. Those with serious or complicated infectious diseases are seen. We are specially trained and continue to stay on top of all aspects of infectious diseases. This organization is also where medical services are found for those traveling at home and abroad. This is done by pre-travel visit for appropriate vaccinations, medications and advice. Dr. Shadowen and Nurse Practitioner Hays work to stay up to date on travel advisories and requirements for travelers to all parts of our world. Those who return with infectious diseases are also seen as needed. Missionary groups may be done individually or at one time based on need and schedules. This office is a yellow fever vaccine center authorized by the Centers for Disease Control to acquire and administer this vaccine.
Dr. Shadowen is a member of, and active in, many professional groups.
