How would you like to stay in a plantation that was built in 1803, that is rich in history and has some of the most luxurious Bed & Breakfast suites available? Richwood Plantation is located along the Ohio River in Milton, Kentucky and right across the river from Madison, Indiana. President McKinley stayed in the Richwood Plantation and we even have a suite named after him. In addition, Mr. Ed the talking horse actually spent some time at the plantation with his owner.

The Richwood Plantation is a marvelous Bed & Breakfast. The property has a total of 117 acres with many walking trails and a beautiful view of mountains and the Ohio River which is just across the street. The plantation suites, Cottage House suites and other cottages can sleep up to 40 people. There is a 16-stall horse barn, a 16,000-square-foot indoor riding arena, in-ground swimming pool, a hot tub and all sorts of other amenities for your comfort. We gladly welcome large wedding parties, business conferences, receptions, reunions and other major events.
