What we mean by we're not a franchise company is we don't have to push anyone's product line. We order all of our log products directly from log mills and purchase all common building materials locally. This means you get top quality materials at mill direct prices. You shouldn't have to pay franchise markups. You shouldn't have to pay franchise sales commissions on your log home materials. Our customers typically save 30 to 40 percent on the cost of their log home materials. Big franchise companies have big overhead costs. It's really that simple. Most of these companies want to sell a complete kit; including windows, doors, rafters, joists, and many other common building materials. Many of these companies sell good quality materials, but if they sell you materials that can be purchased locally you can rest assured they are putting a markup and shipping cost on them. In addition, if any of those materials are damaged or not correct, the distance makes returning them cost prohibitive.
