Aspen Ridge Insurance’s founder and CEO, Joel Peterson, was a captive insurance agent for 10 years. Joel would get frustrated when his policy holders needed help with something he couldn’t offer (like commercial insurance) and when their rates would go up drastically every year for no apparent reason. So he decided to do something about it!  Joel made the jump to being an independent agent, now offering many more options to his prospects and policy holders.
