Dr. Keith Gibson has been practicing dentistry in Corbin, Kentucky since 1990. He joined the well respected dental practice of his father-in-law, Dr. Sam Ballou, who had practiced dentistry in Corbin since 1958. Dr. Gibson grew up in Girdler, Kentucky where his parents Faye and Clyde Gibson were school teachers. He is a 1980 graduate of Knox Central High School, a biology major at Cumberland College, and a 1989 graduate of University of Louisville School of Dentistry.
Dr. Gibson has been married to Dr. Susan Ballou Gibson since 1986. They have been blessed with two children, Grant who was born in 1999 and Grace who was born in 2004. Dr. Gibson is an avid golfer and loves to spend time with his family. He is a member of Central Baptist Church and a member of the Corbin Lion's Club. He also enjoys his involvement with the local and state dental societies.
Since graduating from Indiana University in 1990 with an advanced degree in general dentistry, Dr. Gibson has been very active in continuing education both locally and internationally. He has had extensive training in cosmetic dentistry with the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum, (PAC) in San Francisco. He has also studied straight wire orthodontics with Dr. Geretty.
Dr. Gibson has excelled in implant dentistry having completed synergy-training program (STP) with 3I Implant Innovations in 1995 and continues with dental implant education to keep abreast of the latest advances in implant dentistry.
