Welcome to Crossing Paths, the website of Christ Lutheran Church, Madisonville, Kentucky! We hope that while our paths cross as you visit our website, that you learn a little about the happenings at Christ Lutheran Church, but more importantly, we want to share God's awesome love with you.
Please take a moment to ponder the cross in our Crossing Paths logo. The left side of the cross is red - a reminder that Jesus died on the cross for our sins. The right side of the cross is yellow - representing the awesome glory of God!
Please also notice the stained glass window in the upper left corner. The window depicts God's love and glory:

God's hands, outstretched from heaven. God lives in us and through us.
The cross where Jesus paid for our sins, once for all.
The dove, representing the Holy Spirit who provides guidance and comfort.
The shell and water, symbols of baptism. In baptism we are joined to the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and become children in God's holy and everlasting family.
The wine chalis signifies Christ's blood and his promise. "...this is my blood...which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins." Matthew 26:29
The rainbow. A symbol of God's promise to all living creatures after the great flood. (Genesis 9:8)
