ANNOUNCEMENT OF CHANGE IN VACCINE PROGRAM
We are introducing Leprospirosis vaccine for dogs into our vaccine program. This bacterial disease has become more prevalent in our area. The vaccine requires two initial dose three weeks apart, then yearly boosters. There will be no additional charge for the second vaccine as we introduce this change in protocol.
Also changing is our canine distemper vaccine protocol. Studies have proven a longer immunity for this vaccine, therefore we are changing to a three year interval on distemper vaccinations. The pet owner will be instructed by the Vet on when their pet will begin the three year intervals.
Our intention is to offer the best quality veterinary care available to our clients with these changes. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding these changes.
