Scott & Ritter, Inc. is the direct descendent of the utility division of Scotty's Contracting, Inc. Scotty's Contracting started in 1972 and the utility division split off as a separate company, Scott & Ritter, Inc. in 1983. Scott & Ritter, Inc. is run as an open shop company. Scott & Ritter, Inc. specializes in heavy construction. This includes storm and sanitary sewers, water facilities, underground electric facilities, gas lines, highway work, etc. In addition to the above, we perform site excavation, blasting, heavy mechanical construction, water and wastewater treatment plant construction, etc. Our work area is generally within a 150 mile radius of Bowling Green, Kentucky. Scott & Ritter pursues many types of contracting opportunities including Design-Build and Performance Contracting.
